MRgitpull

This is a management tool for local Git repositories. The user can store a list of local Git repositories, and use this tool to batch update them.

This application is distributed as a ZIP file. Before using, uncompress the ZIP file into any folder in your computer. No installation is required.

To run, simply double click on the application file, or run MRgitpull on the command line from the directory in which the application file is stored. Then, add or remove local Git repositories to manage. To update all the registered local repositories, click on "Update repositories", which will run git pull on each of the registered repositories in turn. Under Settings, you can choose a root directory where local Git repositories are stored, as well as specify the path to git.

Note that git is required to run this program.

Technical notes:

- This application runs on Python, and uses Kivy for its GUI.
- Packaging for Windows was done using PyInstaller to obtain a one-file executable.
- Popen() is used to call git.
